Terms & Conditions of Referral Rewards
Promotional period: from 9 December 2022 (9 December inclusive).
Referral Rewards
- Up to HKD $1,000 Wellcome supermarket voucher
The Referral Rewards will be rewarded in the specific way as below

Summary of Magpie Referral Rewards
- An existing client (Referrer) of Magpie Securities Limited (the Company) refers a relative or a friend (Referee) to open a Global Margin Account in the Company. The Referee(s) must be new clients) who did not have any trading account in Magpie Securities before 9 December 2022.
- The Referees complete online opening of Global Margin Account (meaning referees complete the initial deposit amount of HKD $10,000 or USD $1,400 and the Global Margin Account is approved by the Company during the promotional period, then the Referrer can enjoy the Wellcome voucher.
- Referrer can get the Wellcome vouchers according to the number of referrals as stated in Table 1.

3.1 Refer 1 relative or friend to successfully open a Global Margin Account, the Referrer can get HKD $200 Wellcome voucher. Refer 2 relatives or friends to successfully open a Global Margin Account, the Referrer can get a total of HKD $300 Wellcome voucher. Refer 3 relatives or friends to successfully open a Global Margin Account, the Referrer can get a total of HKD $500 Wellcome voucher. Refer 4 relatives or friends to successfully open a Global Margin Account, the Referrer can get a total of HKD $1,000 Wellcome voucher.
3.2 If the Referrer refers 2 relatives or friends but only 1 Referee successfully opens a Global Margin Account (meaning the Global Margin Account is approved by the Company) during the promotional period, the Referrer can only receive a total of HKD $200 Wellcome voucher.
3.3 Total value of the Wellcome voucher that each Referrer can enjoy is up to HKD $1,000.
4. The Company will send out an email for reward entitlement to the Eligible Referrer within 14 business days after the Referee has successfully opened a Global Margin Account, together with the ‘Magpie Securities Referral Rewards Redemption Form’ for the confirmation of the Eligible Referrer’s personal information and correspondence address for receiving Wellcome voucher.
5. The Eligible Referrer shall fill out the ‘Magpie Securities Referral Rewards Redemption Form’ online within 10 business days after the Company having sent out the email. Otherwise, the Company will use the ‘Current Correspondence Address’ of the Eligible Referrer as the Wellcome voucher’s delivery address.
6. The Wellcome voucher will be sent out within 14 business days after the Company receives the filled ‘Magpie Securities Member get Member Bonus Redemption Form’. If no email reply is received within 10 business days, the Company will send out Wellcome vouchers within 24 business days after having sent the reward entitlement email.
7. The delivery will be based on the information provided by the Eligible Referrer. The Company will not be responsible for any errors or omissions that lead to the failed delivery, return or loss.
8. The Terms and Conditions of the voucher usage is subject to Wellcome supermarket or their suppliers. It’s not returnable, exchangeable for other gifts, or exchangeable for cash. The Company will not reissue or replace and will not be responsible for any loss, damage or defacement.
9. The Company is not a supplier of Wellcome supermarket. If clients have any inquiries or complaints about the voucher, please contact Wellcome supermarket or their suppliers directly. The Company does not guarantee the quality of vouchers and services provided by Wellcome supermarket or their suppliers, nor is responsible for any consequences by using the vouchers.

Other Terms and Conditions
- This activity is limited to clients in Hong Kong who must be 18 years old or above.
- New clients refer to those who have not opened any trading account in the Company before 9 December 2022.
- Existing clients refer to all clients who have opened trading accounts in the Company . (Including clients who open the accounts on or after 9 December 2022)
- If there is any conflict or discrepancy between the Chinese and English versions, the English version shall prevail.
- Referees need to input the Referrer’s ‘Referral Code’ during online account opening application otherwise the Referrer cannot be rewarded. The Company does not accept phone number or client account number as the referral reference. The ‘Referral Code’ cannot be modified after the Referee has submitted the account opening application. Referrers can find their exclusive ‘Referral Code’ in Magpie Invest APP – ‘Me’ page and click ‘Invite Friends’ to share the Referral Code.
- The ‘Magpie Securities Referral Rewards Program’ shall be recalculated from 9 December 2022. The number of Referees before 9 December 2022 will not be accumulated into this promotional program.

- The Company reserves the right to change, suspend or terminate the above promotional offers and terms and conditions at any time without prior notice to the clients. All are subject to the Company's absolute discretion and interpretation.
